Outstanding
whitetail are to be harvested on the Ciervo Grande Ranch this
year and the quality of the herd is always being monitored and
continues to improve through our extensive feeding program.
Year
’round feeding of protein, has made an enormous difference in
quality and quantity of wildlife. Food plots are strategically
located on the ranch to cultivate a variety of high protein,
nutritional vegetation for the assured viability of all the
wildlife species. This combination, along with the native
vegetation, has resulted in a significant increase in antler size
and mass each year, as well as the residual benefits to the bird
populations. 
Quail
hunting on the Ciervo Grande Ranch is the best that South Texas
has to offer. The ranch has some of the finest dogs and dog
handlers in the quail hunting business. Our custom designed trucks
hold up to 10 dogs at a time and can comfortably seat four
hunters.
Our population of predators are always increasing so these may be
added to any hunt.
